Team

Dr. Parikh

Trained in both clinical care and administrative skills, Dr. Parikh most recent position was a full time faculty member at New York-Presbyterian Hospital: Westchester Division where she was the Unit Chief of Eating disorder division, both in the inpatient as well as outpatient department. She is a physician with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and related difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders. She has extensive experience working in multiple inpatient, outpatient and academic setting.

Dr. Parinda Parikh received her undergraduate degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She earned her MD from Ross University. Dr. Parikh completed general psychiatry residency training at the Brook dale Hospital Medical Center followed by child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital- Payne Whitney Westchester division. She currently holds dual appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Parikh is available for seminars and workshops on eating disorders in the community.

Dr. Parikh treats children, adolescent and adult females and males struggling with eating disorders, utilizing both psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. Her clinical research work has resulted in publications and book chapter in the various areas of eating disorders.

Dr. Parikh’s practice is open for consultations, psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She maintains offices in White Plains as well as Upper East side in Manhattan.

Dr. Oza

Dr. Mina Oza, MD is a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist with over forty six years of experience in the medical field.  She has worked extensively in inpatient, outpatient and private practice.  She has served as supervisor for therapists, nurses, interns, residents and medical students.  She graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College, University Of Delhi medical school in 1974.  She completed her training at the Elmhurst Hospital in NY.  Her current areas of interest are child and adolescent psychiatry, peripartum and postpartum and women’s health.  She now serves at the Medical Director of 2nd ARC psychiatric associates in White Plains where she will be conducting initial eval and psychopharmacological management.  Dr. Oza participates in certain insurance plans.
